Hey!
I’ve decided to do a series of portraits of people that influenced me as an artist and human being. It’s gonna be kind of my personal expression of those people and fictional characters.

The second one is Marie Antoinette Dauphine of France! She supported Arts and Science. She was a huge fashion and book lover.

She always reminds me that sometimes average people don’t understand you and hate you, but history will appreciate you.

Maria Josepha of Saxony was 16 when she married the French Dauphin on this day in 1747.

Her husband was in mourning for the death of his first wife, who had died less than 12 months before. He did eventually fall in love with Maria Josepha, but his own early death meant that she never got to be Queen of France.
