Top 20 Most Important Female Characters in DC

9- Black Canary

Real name: Dinah Lance.

First appearance: Flash comics #86 (1947)

Created by: Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino.

An expert and skilled fighter, Black Canary possesses the power of the super sonic scream, though in seasons that she has been devoid of her powers it has shown that she is more than just a pretty face.

After a long romance with Oliver Queen, they got married and shared a series.

In particular, this character resembles Catwoman in her adventures, since both show that they are as important and self-sufficient as their respective partners.

She has been a part of groups like the Birds of Prey and the Justice League.

10-HarleyQuinn

Real name: Harleen Quinzel.

First appearance: Batman: Harley Queen (1999)

Created by: Paul Dini and Bruce Timm.

Harley made her first appearance as an addition to the Joker’s gang within Batman the animated series in 1992. She became interesting for the public and her own creators, who gradually gave her prominence such that she even starred in her own chapters. Within the DC universe, she debuted in her own special while the events of “No Man’s Land” were taking place.

Harley’s popularity has made her appear in various media, she has had her own regular series and soon she will be a character that appears in the game “Injustice: gods among us”.

Within the New 52 he is part of the Suicide Squad and has an affair with Deadshot, who surely does not like Mr. J at all. If Harley were not so obsessed with Mr. J, he would be a less toxic character… and maybe I would. I would respect even more, but she is too controversial

8- Wonder girl / Troia

Real name: Donna Troy.

First appearance: The brave and the bold #60 (1965)

Created by: Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani

Donna Troy’s life has been quite complicated. Especially in the plot part where the writers have been cruel to her changing her origin over and over and over again. Whether as Wonder girl, Troia or Darkstar, the truth is that Donna is one of the most beautiful women in DC comics.

Within the New 52 she is one of the most missed characters and that fans ask for with more eagerness along with Wally West, who would be two anomalies that have no place according to the new continuity

Donna Troy has a strong character to lead and to be heard.

A large part of the Earth’s population does not trust those who have super powers and that makes Donna Troy so angry but despite that, she does not kill criminals and tries to gain the trust of the people.

Donna Troy has a job other than being a hero, she’s a photographer… and she’s passionate about it. Besides, she is Diana’s younger sister… but they don’t always get along.
