Toes in the Sand, Beer in My Hand - A Sam and Dean aesthetic
Hunters don’t get vacations. Not really but that didn’t stop the Winchesters from pulling off when they saw the sign for a lake. Parking Baby, grabbing a couple chairs, and the green cooler full of beer and finding a nice spot to spend the afternoon. Cold beer, warm sun on their skin, and fine grains of sand between their toes. It was only for the afternoon but for them it was a grand vacation.

After Dean lost Sam and he’d run all the way to Lisa, he knew his life was going to be different. Different in the best of ways and he decided he’d make some new traditions with Ben since he was going to be apart of his life. He bought the plate so Ben could write on it and he’d helped him make cookies, pour milk and chop carrots for Santa and his reindeer. He played the part of dad the best he could and when Ben wrapped his arms around Dean’s waist and thanked him for helping him get Santa’s snacks ready, Dean couldn’t help feel a swell of pride in his chest.
