So my friends and I watched Disneys Zombies “as a joke” and then we all made zombie self insert OC’s also “as a joke” and i think at some point it stopped being just a joke because now we’re all very emotionally invested in the movies LMAOOO. She has a whole backstory and arc that’s as campy and chaotic as the movies.

The Color of Friendship mentions two real-world works of literature, Roots and Cry the Beloved Country. Consider the role of books and reading in other Disney Channel Original Movies. Though we’ve seen several nerd characters, these nerds were defined by their interest in science, not their interest in reading. Under what circumstances do characters read in Disney Channel Original Movies? Consider the Halloweentown picture book in Halloweentown and Jess’s gift of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in The Thirteenth Year. What does it mean for a character in a DCOM to read a real book versus an in-universe book? What effect does this reading have, both on the character and on the viewer’s perception of that character?
The Color of Friendship is the first Disney Channel Original Movie set in the past. How does our knowledge of history affect our reading of the film? Consider the importance of technology in films like Smart HouseandGenius. Is the lack of modern technology in The Color of Friendship noticeable? Does this movie shed new light on the role of technology in the DCOM canon?
Michael actually died in the car crash at the racetrack. The rest of the movie is his journey through purgatory.

Danny Wrigley
Danny is a teenage boy who appears in the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Twas the Night. He has a good relationship with his uncle Nick, who is petty criminal. When his parents get called into work on Christmas Eve, he and his younger siblings are babysat by Nick, who decides to impersonate Santa Claus. Together, Danny and Nick decide to deliver presents to the kids, but Danny is left feeling betrayed after his uncle Nick is stealing presents rather than giving them out. He returns home and apologises to Santa for stealing his sleigh. When his uncle returns home and saves Danny and his siblings from home invaders, Danny and Nick make up.
