So apparently the floating side plateforms were literarily supposed to be smaller versions of the calamity gun. Gee, can’t imagine why Disney killed that idea.
Also, we were going to get an answer to why the government doesn’t even attempt large scale bombardment. Newtopia can disable electronics at will, and probably knocked out the USA’s electronic defense systems when the attack started, hence why only the troops in the area was able to do anything. That would have been a really nice scene.
So i really like this shot, because the laser beam passes through Domino 2’s wing, because a beam of light is so fast that it’s instantaneous, unlike the infinitely slower wing flapping.
Also the laser was dispersed when put up against glass rather than break through it. It’s a nice detail i really like, and i wish we’d have gotten to see both of them.
So apparently Sasha 1. Was supposed to lose one of her swords, and 2. This fight seems to have been originally planned as their first meeting given her shocked expression.
So i like Andrias giant mecha, but i definitly think there was a missed opportunity to have this dark red and black vs light, bright shinning blue.
I’m planning on using that color scheme for one of my own stories in fact, and seeing this picture really illustrates that it’s a powerful contrast.
