#dmc shitpost
Earlier today, this fine gentleman found his way onto my dashboard:
And as chance would have it, I am currently rereading the first DMC novel for a question that was sent to me recently (also because I like to feel prepared and it’s been a while since I last read the novel).
And both of these tidbits of information may seem completely arbitrary to you, but I have almost finished reading the novel and completely forgot about this ridiculous piece of dialogue towards the end of the book:
You may see where this is going…
I wish I could unthink this.
It’s low key killing the suspense and drama of the final confrontation :’)
But honestly? Accurate.
“My child is fine!”
Your child binge reads Dadgil aus
@sonderlativ brought up an interesting point that my brain completely morphed into something that was not the point so, sorry in advance.
Vergil breaking into Sanctus’s apartment looking for books on Sparda gives off the same energy as Alice breaking into the DMC office to steal the amulet.
Those two would gave been chaotic given time.
I wanted to make a stupid joke about how at least Vergil knows how to use a door - until I remembered that he left the room by jumping out a window while Alice just straight up jumped through the window with exactly zero fucks given.
Duly noted, same energy, they are both chaotic disasters.
At least Vergil knows how to open a window.
