I’m usually not a fan of characters where one of their main traits is being attracted to a main character, but Gravel is an exception to this.

Gravel spends some time being the Doctor’s bodyguard and decides:

I like the Doctor, they’re smart, charming, and thoughtful. Their daughter’s cool, and I’m down for whatever they’ve got going on under all those layers.

Like, I can respect that.

If the Doctor was a more typical player character it wouldn’t work, but because Doctor has an actual personality (and is such a strange little creature), I don’t mind it.

Also, it helps that she’s not horny on main for Doctor specifically. From what I can tell, she’s just like that.
