When I found out that Mikey’s Japanese voice actor was Kappei Yamaguchi, I knew I needed to make a Death Note meme.

For those who don’t know Kappei Yamaguchi voices L and Inuyasha. He voiced Mikey in the Tmnt 2012 Japanese dub.

Looks familiar? Yeah, I got a little bit inspired by Inuyasha! This took me a while cause this I can’t draw anthropomorphic well. Luckily, the 2012 had an anime style I was familiar with and I was pretty much winging it 99% of the time. The 1% was looking at tutorials if you’re wondering. Anyway, I’m glad it turned out well!

So I think it’s obvious what you guys think what happened in the comic. In case if you didn’t get it, Leo protected his brothers and he died smiling, knowing they’re safe from harm. I was inspired by Yashahime when Setsuna died smiling. So I did the same with this!
