As always, many thanks to the lovely kariwerners for the photo, she is a great model to TF ^_^
She had only bought the small statue because it was a charity auction. Some old rich guy who had traveled the world left all the strange things he had collected to be sold off and the money donated. Kari was at the event with a friend and she was trying to get in the spirit so she bid a small amount on a silver donkey statue. Surprisingly, nobody else bid on that particular piece and she ended up taking the small figurine home.
As she stood in her apartment looking over the small metal animal she felt a tingle in her hand, and then a static jolt ran through her body. She swore the statue was glowing blue for just a moment, but as she held it she could find no evidence of what had caused the jolt or the flash.
She was about to sit the statue down, but got distracted as a pinching feeling at the back of her spine coincided with her ears becoming quite itchy and a light jaw cramp. As she looked for a place to sit the donkey down she happened to catch her reflection it it’s polished surface. Her face was long, and becoming muzzle like. Her ears were those of a donkey and stood nearly a full foot above her head. She flicked her tail in confusion and was frightened as she felt a familiar jolt and once again saw the flash of blue lights…

She cleared her throat and then let out a loud bray “Heeeee-hhhaaaaaaw!” she paused for a moment before flashing a bucktoothed grin, it sounded so… real. She didn’t know where her roommate got her this costume, but the quality of it made up for her having to be the donkeygirl. Each piece seemed more realistic than the last, and she was starting to think she could really pull this costume off. Hell, even the tail even moved like it was real, not that she remembered putting it on. Or the ears for that matter, she frowned and watched in the mirror as the ears flattened to her head. She cautiously reached up and felt the soft warm fur of her ears, and her eyes went wide when she realized they really were HER ears. It looked like there was no way she was going to be able to pull anything off unless her roommate let her…
