Had the most amazing evening with my friend Brad. We saw a private showing of a new Hulu series called DopeSick (@dopesickonhulu) which entails on the rise of the Oxycodone epidemic that plagued the US. I got to meet one of the actors, @rosariodawson, who was amazing on and off camera. In this photo I was hyping up her dress and her “being”. It makes me emotional seeing my people succeed and do great things. That episode 7 climax hit me like a truck, folks. You can clearly see that these guys are walking time bombs, and yet still, when it actually happens, you feel it like a slap to the face. And the ones left behind definitely don’t deserve to witness such a shitty end to the lives of their precious loved ones.
Juxtapose this with the Sacklers’ sanctimonious BS scenes, the DEA’s helplessness in resolving a long standing case, my blood boils to the next level. I’m not ready to watch the final episode
