Doukyonin Wa Hiza, Tokidoki Atama No Ue Op

Winter Anime 2019

Happy New Year!!! Well, it’s still 2018 where I live but for those of you who have already reached the new year I hope 2019 will start off great for you! Anyway, 2018 has been a whirlwind of a year for me. Things have gotten so crazy that it’s been a trial just to keep up with anime. But shows that I have been able to finish/keep up, such as Banana Fish, Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru, and Dakaichi, always remind me that anime, manga, or otaku related things are what make me happy and worth keeping in my life. Although my watchlist is going to be kind of short, I’m hyped to start 2019 with the WINTER ANIME SEASON!

Here are some shows that I am planning on watching:

- B-Project: Zecchou*Emotion

Omg I LOVED the first season of this show! I’m so happy it’s getting a 2nd season!

- Fukigen na Mononokean Tsuzuki

Another anime I loved that I did not expect to get a second season! Woooooo~!

- 5-toubun no Hanayome

The premise for this one seems hilarious. I guess I’ll be watching a harem anime with Youshitsugu Matsuoka again lol

- Doukyouin wa Hiza, Tokidoki, Atama no Ue

Kensho Ono as a black-haired ikeman with a cute cat? IM SOLD XD

- Domestic na Kanojo

The character designs and the premise really caught my eye. I’m not sure what to expect from this one but I’m going to give it a shot.

Ongoing:

- Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru

YES!!! I’m soooo excited for the second cour of this amazing sports anime!

On hold:

- Piano no Mori Season 2

I started this show a few seasons ago and really liked it. I’m happy that it’s getting a second season but like a lot of shows I’m severely behind on it. So I’m putting this on hold for now.

- 3D Kanojo: Real Girl Season 2

This is another show I started a while back and loved. But I’ll have to put this on hold for now as well. T^T

This is probably one of the shortest anime watch lists I have posted on Tumblr, but I’m looking forward to watching these shows while catching up on others. Honestly, I’m disappointed that I’m so behind on so many great shows, but as a 22 (going on 23) year old grad student/aspiring teacher sometimes I need to focus on real life. But anime is and always will be my escape from the stresses and challenges of reality. I’m coming to terms that I can’t watch every great show out there all at once, but I’ll literally have the rest of my life to catch up or even start on them. I know that I’m going to be busy this season, but if there are any shows that I missed or you recommend please don’t be afraid to comment them on this post or message me! Thanks for reading and have a great 2019!!!
