1.GB:Tell us a little about who you are.
DG: My name is Deidra Grace Chiverton. I hope to inspire. I hope that my passion is infectious and my energy transforms. I pray that the gifts God gave me move mental mountains and knocks down walls of worry. To be Black is one thing to be gifted is another but to be GIFTEDLY BLACK is a super power. It is a responsibility. I hope to unwrap the possibilities of fear and failure and cover them in determination. My purpose is to perform in every sense of the word. My first love was the stage and in this long life I plan to encounter, conquer, seduce, secure and reproduce everything it is and gives consistently.
2.GB:What does being Giftedly Black mean to you?
DG:Being Giftedly Black means strength. It means escape and elevation. It means that God thought enough of me to give me something special.

4.GB: What is it that you want to achieve in life?
DG: I’d love to be a great addition to the arts. Leave my mark in the world by way of the stage, poetry, television, film etc.
5.GB: An obstacle you have overcome/struggle?
I’d have to say my biggest struggle is money and location. If I don’t have the money sometimes i can’t make it to auditions. Sometimes I have to work a survival job and that doesn’t allow me to be where i need to be or do what i need to do. I believe, I have to harder. No matter the struggle.
6.GB: What sets you apart and makes you unique as an artist?
DG: I believe my relationship with God sets me apart. I use my time on stage or any chance I get to use my gifts as ministry. I know that my spiritual beliefs are what drives my gifts so i make sure they stay connected. I take no credit for my abilities. I put the work in but God chose me.

7. GB: What is one thing that you desire most in your selected field?
DG:I want to be a BROADWAY STAR!!!!!!
GB:I first met Deidra when I was 10 years old . Now at age 27, I can honestly say that I have always admired and looked up to her . Her tenacity, and unwillingness to never crack under pressure all while being a triple threat, constantly sets the standard high for fellow thespians. She is the epitome of love and God-Given talent.
