Ten years later :: A happy 10th anniversary to the filming of ‘Drink with Me’ during Les Misérables principal photography: 14-15 May 2012; George Blagden’s Grantaire leads the Amis and Extended Amis in song, but his actual show-verse is cruelly left on the cutting room floor. Its filming, however, can be seen in the DVD feature The Young Revolutionaries. And of course, as the gift he is, Blagden filmed himself singing the verse alone in Paris on the evening of Barricade Day 2016, uploading the video with the timeless clue The password is the name of the café — musain — but giving the video itself the Brick-accurate title of The Corinthe(audiohere; my novel on this event is here).
