So, I had a crack idea of Roche saving Iorveth’s life and Iorveth deciding that now that they weren’t direct enemies anymore, his honor demands he repay that life debt. By following Roche around and teaching his Witcher 3 recruits how to ACTUALLY be an insurgent. Roche is not amused.
Then I drew a dumb comic of it lmao. Just for Iorveth being annoying.

So I finally posted the fic inspired by this idea. In which Roche saves Iorveth’s life and Iorveth is doing bad enough that he can’t even be mad about it.
When someone saves your life, it is traditional to consider that a debt owed - a life debt. Because without their intervention, you would no longer be alive.
Iorveth has very mixed feelings about owing Vernon Roche a life debt.
