Our Om Mani Padme Hum Dzi bead is absolutely beautiful!
Om Mani Padme Hum is the central mantra of Tibetan Buddhism. People recite this mantra primarily to awaken feelings of love and compassion towards themselves and others.
The first part, Om is composed of three letters. A, U, and M. These symbolize the practitioner’s impure body, speech, and mind; they also symbolize the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha. The second part, Mani (meaning jewel), symbolizes the altruistic intention to become enlightened, compassionate and loving. Padme, meaning jewel & Hum which represents indivisibility. Thus the six syllables, om mani padme hum, mean that in dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha.
