Marilyn Monroe photographed by Earl Leaf, 1950. These photos were taken on the Hyde estate in early spring. For a period of time Marilyn lived with Johnny Hyde, her agent and often supposed boyfriend. She cared very much for him, love him even, but was not in love with him. That difference meant a great deal to her. At the time of this shoot, she was no longer living there, but sometimes spent the night.
