#eclipsa had a crisis

Eclipsa would absolutely (take advantage) make the most of her 300 year imprisonment by trolling Moon at every available opportunity. Like. Just doing something outrageous and making up an absurd Ye Olde Tradition in order to justify it, then feigning wide-eyed innocent shock when Moon reacts badly.

“Oh dear! I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize– you see, in my time it was customary for close allies to break into each other’s houses in the dead of night to steal recipes as a gesture of deep friendship.”

“No, it WASN’T.”

Eclipsa can get very subtle about it, to the point where Moon goes back the Archives just to do some research in order to catch her in a lie. And then becoming disgusted when she realizes the lengths she’s going in order to prove Eclipsa wrong. Eclipsa dismisses any findings that undermine her position with: “Psh. Who will you believe? An old book by a bunch of biased monks, or me, who lived through it?”
