Figured I should draw some merple for for mermay, so here’s Terry’s mom! She has six kids, a mild caffeine addiction, and likes making upsetting body horror sculptures.
For a merson, she’s pretty decent at walking around on two legs, and spends most of her time upright. She wouldn’t recommend it though, as it’s taken its toll on her back over the years.

In order we got Leo’s dad [REDACTED] Mesquite, the piss man himself, his cousin Luce Mesquite, and his aunt Nola Mesquite. Half of which are very dead. Not many people left in this family.
Went ahead and updated this, as all these characters have gotten some design tweaks since this drawing!

Margaret Saint, boss of the cartoon mafia a perfectly inconspicuous private lender.
While her company primarily deals in assisting clients financially, she also offers various other services, including selling guns, sending “messages”, and making individuals disappear. For a price, of course.
Said price doesn’t necessarily need to be money; since moving to the city, she’s gone from hoarding treasure to hoarding information. After years of making deals, Margaret is now sitting on a goldmine of blackmail material, secrets, and various other strings to pull, making her one of the most powerful people in Nowhere.
Even her henchmen aren’t safe from this, as she runs extensive background checks on all her employees and secretly keeps files on them all. Just in case. Wouldn’t want anyone to act up, you know?

Redoing Margaret’s ref as I wasn’t happy with the old one, and I’ve decided to let her keep her vest on instead of walking around nakey all the time.
She’s also getting a new accessory to really perfect that tumblr sexywoman look.
Decided to tweak Luce’s design a little bit! Wanted them to look a lil less like a palette swap of their stinky cousin and stand out as their own character more.
I’ll tell their story at some point. Eventually. Probably. Maybe.
