There’s so much to unpack here:
- Pack of Beakers
- Goth Beaker
- The Beaker snitching and pointing out the photographer
- The Beaker that’s about to unload on the photographer
- The terminator strut before the ass whooping and you know he’s moving at speed because of the blur
- The ominous feeling that you know this is 3 in the morning
im soo interested in characters that haunt the narrative like they are dead before the story even starts but god are they still there impacting things
[ID: Tweet by Ceinwen Langley @/FeedTheWriter saying, “I don’t know who needs to hear this, but writing is hard because you care about it and want it to be good, not because you’re bad at it.” End ID.]
absolutely enamoured of memes that are entirely exclusive to tumblr. every “blorbo” and “live slug reaction” and “my brother in christ” brings us closer to complete and utter inaccessibility. keep fighting the good fight my brothers
Victoria Schwab Tweets:
“This just in: you can love writing and also find it hard.
“I was once on a panel and another author essentially said, ‘if you don’t enjoy every moment, then why are you here?’ and I was…exasperated. Creativity is a complicated beast. You don’t have to love every second to be a valid participant.
“I love the ideas. I love brainstorming, and problem-solving, and I love making this better, fine-tuning language.
“I also hate drafting, claw my way through self-doubt, crawl on my hands and knees through the frustration of the unrealized.
“I’m not here because I love every second.
“I’m here because the parts I love are worth the rest.”

your fat activism posts should include people who are not healthy at their current weight or have an eating disorder where they eat too much btw
like YES there are plenty of fat people who ARE healthy and that is a super important thing to say but fat people who are not currently healthy (especially fat women) are treated like dirt by both camps. like i dont know how to explain to you that unhealthy people dont deserve to get treated like garbage
and no. fat unhealthy people who are not currently working out or dieting or losing weight do not deserve to be dehumanized either. gyms are expensive. not everyone can afford one. unhealthy food is much cheaper then healthy alternatives. people have school and jobs and that can be both mentally and physically exhausting. disabled fat people exist. chronically ill, autistic, ect fat pepple exist. there is elderly people who cannot work out so easily. its not all black and white and every single fat person is going to be different.
[ID: A screenshot of a comment from Tumblr user victorelivale. It says:
health is not indicative of worth and by and large people use “health!!” as a mask for fatphobia. believing otherwise is classist and ableist. people are worthy of love and respect regardless of physical health or ability because humans have inherent worth and rights that cant be diminished on the basis of discrimination. /end ID]
“I’m glad you’re okay” but said by someone who has just had the shit beaten out of them, to someone who is not hurt at all, is a brilliant trope and I lose my mind every time.
