Okay lemme just talk about this scene for a second:

Mike watched El get hurt and thrown around by Billy and the FIRST THING he does when it’s safe is run to her to see if she’s still alive. No one else matters in that moment and Mike’s completely focused on holding El, alive, in his arms.

And the moment he arrives to her, SHES the one who asks if he’s okay. As if she hadn’t been thrown around.

This small moment just captures so much of their dynamic. The idea that Mike always has and always will consider el to be a human first, and El’s caring nature, especially toward him, wants to make sure he’s safe too.

And just the physical touch they both NEED to validate that they’re both still alive and present in the moment.

Just some late night mileven thoughts cause I miss them so much and I just want them back

And OF COURSE after roller blading, Mike and El would go to a local diner and split fries and a milkshake

So, if we get a big I love you scene between Mike and El is it going to be when everything’s chill and they’re reunited OR are we going to get a Captain Swan style I love you where either one admits that they love the other before throwing themselves into danger to protect the other.

I’ve seen so many TikTok’s that say Mike doesn’t love El and some that say he only loves her for her powers like did they completely ignore the part in season three where he tried getting everyone to stop asking her to use her powers because he was scared of it hurting her

I feel like some people just see one person say something and just run with it lmaoo it’s totally okay to dislike a ship but the reasons can’t be made up because then your reasons for hating it don’t make sense

I’m a big Mileven shipper so I hope that they have good moments in the next episodes but it got me thinking how they’re going deal with Will’s crush. I can obviously see that Will isn’t straight and I definitely think he has a crush on Mike, however, I think it’s going to be one of those situations where while Mike cares for Will and loves him as a friend he probably won’t feel the same.

I’m interested to see what they do in terms of confessions because I think they’re building up to maybe having a big mileven I love you confession but they’ll probably either have Will admit his feelings to Mike because he obviously deserves to speak about his feelings or they’ll have him stay quiet. I hope it’s the first because Will needs to be able to get it out and say what he feels and while it might hurt a little if the feelings aren’t returned he’s at least able to get it off his chest. I just think that it would be weird writing to switch it up right now. I think it being unrequited is realistic because having a crush on a friend of the same gender and those feelings not being returned can happen often but I really hope we at least see Will come out to his family and friends (if he’s comfortable ofc) and maybe there be a hint of him gaining feelings for someone else.

It’s going to be awkward no matter how he confesses though because imagine how awkward it would be to confess that you have feelings for your sister’s boyfriend even if he is your best friend lmao

Okay two mileven things I want tbh

I want Mike to gain the courage to tell her he’s in love with her and that along with the love she has from the rest of their friends and family is what helps her in the battle against Vecna

And if she feels self conscious about her shaved head, Mike reassures her that she is still pretty as a call back to season 1 and he says that he fell for her back then and she’s still beautiful now. He doesn’t care about what she looks like he just loves her.
