Amazing red #hijabistyle from @zukreat - When @elleusa asked me to be part of their Hijabi vloggers editorial feature it was an immensely exciting opportunity for me to help show that the Hijab is finally being recognised across mainstream media. I feel this is only the beginning of greater things yet to come for Muslim women worldwide. It’s an opportunity to show that we are not oppressed as others may be mislead to believe. But we are pioneers, entrepreneurs, educated professionals in our own right. We are leaders and we are here to inspire and pave the way for generations to come that Hijab shouldn’t hinder your progress in what you aspire to be. I want to use my public profile to do good and to show others that you can reach what you set out to achieve and for that I am immensely grateful for how far we have come and excited for how far we have yet to look forward to.
