I know this music video has been out for a couple of months and the single for much, much longer, but it’d be criminal not to take note of how magnificent this young starlet from Norway is on Not Gonna Cry, and everything else we’ve heard from her so far.  Emma Steinbakken is only 15-16 years old (depending on when her birthday is). Not Gonna Cry, her debut single, has more than made its mark on the world with its viral popularity. The song, which she co-wrote with fellow Norwegians Skinny Days, is a sonorously cathartic pop anthem exhibiting her deep, powerful, and incendiary chops. The single is featured on her self-titled debut EP which just dropped less than two weeks ago, off which also comes Emma’s latest single Never Forgiving, whose lyric video you can take in below. It’s an even more emotionally performance from the singer songwriter, who said she wrote the skyscraping song when she was angry and sad over something that someone did to one of her closest friends.
