#emperor tamarin

My creature design in its early stages. The wings are giving me pause but the animal studies were fun.

My made up prey animal is gonna be based on the emperor tamarin, tiger quoll, and bar-tailed godwit. I wanted the marsupial pouch and general head shape from the quoll. These creatures will need to be able to travel long distances so their wings are from the bird with the longest migration on record, the godwit. I also wanted an arboreal build for their feet and tails, hence the tamarin.

I’m really wanting to give them some kind of smoke cloud defense like a squid but we’ll see if that gets approved or if I’d need to do cephalopod studies to justify it.
