Planning to enter the Graceful Envelope contest this year! Here’s my frog-themed work in progress

A collection of some of the spooky envelopes I’ve sent to my friends this month

Tried another tutorial from The Postman’s Knock

Of all the mail art I’ve done, this is my favorite original design

Today’s stranger, Rosemarie, is turning 95 on October 19th!

My next stranger, Donna, lives in an assisted living facility. This means she can’t have any visitors to celebrate her 84th birthday on November 1st. So, her daughter put out a call for birthday cards from anyone and everyone! Feel free to join in the mailing fun and send her a note if you like :)

Ethel, the next stranger I’m sending a birthday card to, turns 98 on October 26th! We coincidentally live pretty close to each other, so I featured an iconic piece of architecture from her town on the envelope.

Virginia is turning 101 on October 10th (today!)

I don’t know her, but her friends put an ad in the Ruralite magazine asking for strangers to send in birthday cards because, like most 101 year olds, she has few surviving friends. I thought these solicitations for letters would be the perfect opportunity to practice lettering & envelope art!

When I have the chance, I decorate envelopes I send out for sticker orders! Though this account is focused on my Etch A Sketch art, I use little outlets like this to exercise my illustration degree a little.
