My boyfriend gave me an analog camera to play with last December and brought it with me while I was on holiday in NZ.
New Zealand itself has beautiful sceneries which makes photography easier for the eyes.
As you can see in my previous photos, I usually focus on sceneries, landscapes, animals, plants… anything BUT PEOPLE.
Even though I have experience in Studio Photography for babies and families, I tend to get shy when it comes to people if it’s not within my job.
So my main goal here, is to capture those around me.
Also, this is my FIRST TIME using an analog camera. And to be honest, it’s fun but at the same time frustrating. You don’t want to waste any of your photos so taking photos at random wasn’t comfy. I always wonder if it’s blurred or not… but anyways, I TRIED.
Overall, I like it! Going old school. There’s excitement when waiting for your film to be ready in prints… something you don’t get with digital since you see it already. Also, it kinda trains your eyes to look for an opportunity to capture.
Me and my colleagues visited this place called Al Bastakiya. It’s a historical district in Dubai. We went to this little store which sells local spices and products. (I got my mom a cutie camel, btw. :P)
and I brought my travel buddy Dan board! <3
PS. Can you spot the crow? :P
Go visit if you’re around. It’s nearby Al Fahidi Station and can be walked going to this place.

Just incase you’re around, I bought Danboru at Kinokuniya in Dubai Mall. :) It’s not seen here, but my Danboard has a switch for its eyes to lit up. ( ◞・౪・)
