You were buying a couple things from the grocery store. That particular day was really busy and you had waited in line for a good fifteen minutes for your few items. When it was your turn to check out, you realized that you didn’t have your wallet and must have left it in your car. You sighed, hating that you’d have to go get it and come back just to wait in line again. Erwin came up from behind you in line and paid for your stuff. You had promised to pay him back against his protests, but when you exchanged numbers, he called you to ask you out to dinner.
Where you go on a date
Erwin is definitely the type to do anything he can to impress you (hello, Libra). He made reservations at the most expensive restaurant downtown. It was at the top of one of the taller buildings and had his outfit planned out for days, his lucky suit. Nerd, but we love him.
Something that goes wrong
The restaurant double-books the table and you guys can’t get in. So instead, you find a falafel cart and get some street food. Erwin had never had falafel before and after eating one sandwich and loving it, you both had to loop back around so he could get a second sandwich.
How they confess
Can we PLEASE just have Erwin doing that super cliché in movies?? You were both eating your falafel sandwiches and as you were chewing, he notices you have cream on the corner of your mouth and smiles. When you’re confused why he’s smiling, he wipes the cream away with his thumb and leans in to kiss you. #falafelbreath
What gift they bring you
Super traditional, but flowers. I think traditional and simple is like Erwin’s go-to, but I actually think it’s not like done out of ease. It’s more out of the fact that he thinks it’s perfect. He prefers things to be simple. I know for Valentine’s Day people give red roses or whatever, but the part where he veers from tradition a bit is when he gets like a big bouquet of sunflowers instead. Or like hydrangeas. Dude, yes, hydrangeas. Blue ones that match his eyes.
Erwin as a judge overall: Erwin is a amazing judge and is liked among his peers. Fair and knows the law like the back of his hand of course.
-So when Erwin hears about a speeding ticket case he just wants to get it done and over with. But when Erwin asks what was the reason for going so fast, y/n responds only with
-“So I can see those beautiful eyes of yours.”
-A good play. Erwin knows he’s handsome but he’s not conceited; so the comment definitely makes him smirk a bit.
-Does the tactic work? Yes, Erwin throws the speeding ticket out of court. flattery works on Judge Smith. (That and it was just a speeding ticket) he does warn y/n to slow down.
Kruger as a judge overall: I love Kruger, but to be in his court room is all seriousness. Kruger knows the law and doesn’t tolerate any …insolence. But every once in awhile he can be pretty lenient.
-When Kruger hears about a speeding ticket he’s knows it’s going to be a rather a quick car and doesn’t think much of it. So when he asks “What was the rush for?” Y/N only responds with
-“You’re gorgeous. Like really gorgeous.”
-the people in the court room literally:
- Kruger knows y/n is just giving him flattery; but damn if it doesn’t work. Kruger smirks for like a split second before telling y/n to pay the fine and dismisses them from court.
-Does the tactic work? Yes and no. Y/N may have made Kruger’s day with the comment but he’s still giving the appropriate sentence.
Hannes as a judge overall: one of the best judges. While he has a great sense of right and wrong, he’s mostly lenient to those who show good character. People say his courtroom has a certain light hearted air about it. (Just don’t over do it )
-When Hannes hears about a speeding ticket he knows this’ll be quick as he seen plenty of people come in his courtroom over a speeding ticket. What he didn’t expect to hear from y/n in his court room was,
-“Can I just say, that you’re most handsome man I’ve seen all day.”
-Hannes isn’t immune to flattery and gives a little laugh at the comment and let’s y/n go without a fine. He does give y/n a warning…outside the courtroom over drinks
-Does the tactic work? Yes, it does. ❤️
-Mike as a judge overall: very fair and a magnificent judge. People have tone it down on the cologne/perfume in his court because of his sensitive nose. Other than that Mike is a great judge, like Hannes though one doesn’t want to make him mad. Mike may be judge but he’s a 6’5 male that weighs 220 pounds, pure muscle.
-Mike like all the others snk daddies has seen his fair share of speeding tickets and just wants to go on with his day. However, when Mike hears,
-“Aside from being sexy, what do you do for a living?”
-Mike has to chuckle at that knowing that’s an pick up line. The transcriber asks Mike does he want her to take to type that down, Mike allows it.
-“In case you weren’t aware, I’m a judge. Besides being sexy.”
-of course, Mike gives y/n a wink before telling them to have a nice day and pay the fine. ✨
-Does the tactic work? Depends. While y/n has to pay the fine, if they really like Mike he’s all for taking them out. At least, y/n made the sexy judge laugh, that’s a win.
