I like to think even though the wizards are apart they’re still thinking of one another.. Essek is still stuck on how this wonderful crazy band of idiots can still have hope for him after everything he’s done. Caleb is still reading over a book he borrowed from Essek, and there are all these little notes and tweaks to spells in the drow’s handwriting that give him pause. If only they were different people, if only they had lived different lives. The phantom press of Calebs lips is still on Essek’s forehead. There is still hope.

anyway I hope everyone is staying safe out there! My introverted ass has been happy to stay home and just draw and hang out with the pup but I still worry for everybody! Wash your hands and don’t let people cough on you!
