Nina Ricci creative director Peter Copping feminized menswear staples like the suit jacket, waist coat and button-up shirt for the label’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Opening with a color palette of pure white and cream shades, the new season took airy and crisp lightness into more saturated hues such as cerulean and Monet-like floral prints. The Nina Ricci woman is not short on pretty or romantic for the upcoming spring. Dreamy dresses of chiffon, silk adorned with pleat details brought a romantic air to the show despite the interruption of protestors mid-way through.

Marc by Marc Jacobs offers a new take on the classics for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The classic suit is given a slouchy shape in satin for a pajama-inspired look while white t-shirts worn underneath are kept simple and uncomplicated. Jacobs also got sporty with baseball jackets and a golf-inspired look of trousers and mens tees with color-blocking in satin. Rounding out the collection’s relaxed shapes are the final looks featuring satin dresses or jumpsuits adorned with sparkling star shapes.

Victoria Beckham sent out a crisp collection with tennis-inspired touches like pleated miniskirts and sheer warm-up jackets. WIth a clean palette of black, white and gray with pops of fuchsia and maroon, the collection relied on textural touches like collaged tops, sheer geometric inserts and tonal cream on white. Victoria Beckham also hooked into one of the season’s early favorites, the slouchy culotte, here paired with sleeveless tuxedo vest.
