#everybody knows this is nowhere
Neil Young’s second studio album (and his first with Crazy Horse) was released on 14 May 1969.
The 25-year-old Young reportedly wrote 4 of the album’s songs (”Cinnamon Girl,” “Cowgirl in the Sand,” “Down by the River,” and “Everybody Knows This is Nowhere”) all in a single day (while Young had a high fever).
The album was both a commercial and critical success, it peaked at #34 in the US and remained on the charts for 98 weeks.
