#fantasy larp

Last year I went to a fantasy LARP where you can use to be a socerer/wizard, a smith, a nobel, a tradesman, an alchemist etc. and then you can flavour that position to your liking.

All of these trades have a master which is basically a player who are tasked to know how that part of the rules work so they can help guide other players who chose to let’s say wield magic.

I’ve been playing an alchemist for years and I really love it, but as alchemists go I’m pretty new to the game (there is an alchemist guild who have played at least three years longer than I have), and a player who have played since the first years of the scenario or something.

The the alchemist master had chosen to become one of the organizers (which is really exciting), and she pulled together a list of possible candidates.

One from the guild. The old timer. And me.

The one from the guild didn’t get it (he had stolen all the off game alchemist master stuff) so I doubt he was actually a serious choice (he volunteered himself).

The old timer got the position, and I was so excited to see what he decided to do with the position (I liked how our characters worked together).

Then the organizers decided to make some changes to the rules, and a lot of old timers decided not to come this year. And I heard rumors that the new alchemist masters group wouldn’t come but he would show up anyway.

And now the old alchemist master have written to ask if I still want the position and I’m really excited about it. But I have to touch ground with the group I usually go with because it’s going to take up some of my time, and we need to talk about what it’ll do to the group dynamic.
