And I always thought the fairy wing mutation was cool but nothing ever came from it so whatever I take it for myself
I redrew some of the Urban Shadows player characters as trolls cause every few months I remember Homestuck exists and I’m forced to draw fantrolls at gun point
A friend was rereading homestuck and got to the point where Vriska was talking about her lusus, and how it grew up alongside her. I was totally blindsided by this, and had to design some baby versions of some of the lusii i’ve designed IMMEDIATELY. The order goes Naecons lusus, @tmp-tmp-tmp ‘s Ilbarts lusus, Atlans lusus, and then Evilons lusus. Babies all around!
This is a piece I scribbled out in roughly an hour because I was possessed by the need to show this to the world. It’s about my limeblood, Chauve Souris, discovering her ancestors lusus on accident. Having been smuggled out of the caverns, Chauve never got a lusus. Her ancestors lusus, this giant bat dragon, has been hiding out in a cave with a colony of other bat lusii - as creatures with memory alteration powers, they’ve made the public forget they even exist - allowing them to live under the empires nose. In this piece the lusus is transferring its memories to Chauve - of her ancestor, limeblood history, and most importantly - how to use her powers.
