got the chance to commission @ziorre to bring to life a long overdue moment of softness between john and jestiny, and wow would you look at them! for once simply relaxing and enjoying each other’s presence snuggled around the firepit at the ranchsion, john patiently listening as jessie explains the cultural importance of shrek or dolly parton probably, sharing the dirt IPAs she picked out special. i absolutely love the way ziorre brought them to life, those expressions and i can’t stop staring at the beautiful coloring on the evening firelight!! would absolutely recommend grabbing a commission with this artist if you get a chance!
“Rheese! Be an angel and get me the small wench? I left it somewhere near Marie-Anne’s truck. God that woman is hopeless.” Dad had already slided back under the car when I started giggling. Marie-Anne was a lovely old woman and long-time customer. Our very first customer when Dad and I moved to Maurice River, too. Whenever she came by to get her old, rusty truck fixed she brought self-made pie because she knew what a hopeless case it was. Dad had tried to convince her of a new one for so long but she was as stubborn as me, he said. She loved that stupid thing, told us the story of how her husband rushed her to the hospital in it when their first child was on the way. I loved hearing about her life, and the more I knew of it, the more I ended up understanding her persistence to keep it.
Felt like rendering something, so I rendered two of my Far Cry 5 OC’s wearing part of their love interest’s outfit.

Miranda’s tattoo’s/markings are made from a mash up of a few from the game files. Her hands were also inspired by John. In my head canon she only had the Bumble Bee tattoo before she met him, then got the one her chest and hands. As well as the sins.
Anya has no quarrels wearing the shirt like that in private, but she’d definitely wear a white vest underneath if she wore it anywhere else. I mean her main goal is to get a reaction out of Jacob when like that.
Miranda just loves John’s vest and would most definitely wear it like that anywhere. Maybe also with his jacket or her own version of his jacket. He probably would need to get her one or risk never being able to wear his vest or jacket again once she gets her hands on them.
Due to this being a Dep reaction I thought it better suited Day 5 (Sept. 26): In the Forest Hides A Light (OC Day) but it also works for Day 2 (Sept. 23): The Project at Eden’s Gate
So wrote a snippet for fc5week to go with the above gif I did. Please know I like all the characters, just not all my Deps do. This dep is a little anti Joseph. So here we go, this is one of my deps reactions to that look.

That look he got on his face, it broke my heart. My protective side, wanting to reach out and take him into my arms until something other than that permeating sorrowful glance would appear on it. The look of immense grief in his eyes. I actually wondered if Joseph knew the pain he was inflicting on his own sibling.
If he did, any doubt in my head of stopping him was ebbing quickly away. But my doubt towards the other three was growing. Did he truly have so much power over his siblings that he could inflict such gut wrenching pain without them threatening to leave? Did the idea of losing their family really scare them that much? Scare him?
I was supposed to want justice against these Seeds, yet that very human emotion made me want to help him.
So when he turned his wrath unto me, I let him. Let him vent his pain in possibly one of the only ways he knew how. If confessing my sins would help him, so be it.
