Watercolor fashion studies of hanbok (한복), traditional Korean clothes. These studies are based of an exhibition I saw last year in Paris : l'étoffe des rêves de Lee Young-Hee. The moth messengers by mairithetree
Two originals I will send at Paris City Pop this 27 and 28 of November
It’s based on a dream I had where a big moth came to deliver me a poem written on a piece of paper (also I’ve rewatched some bits of Crimson Peak and a few black moths came one night in the flat I share with my roommates XD)
The dresses are inspired by fashion around 1880 and 1890. I looked at the Tumblr @historicaldress and some dresses from the MET for reference <3 Have a good day, folks !

Fashion studies of Liputa Swagga clothes by mairithetree
I’ve discovered a fashion designer from Congo, she’s inspired by afrofuturism * _ * and her clothes are absolutely dreamy.
