Here’s a story about what happens when you work with super-smart people: On the day of this cover shoot at @miamicityballet, we had 16 different shots to get through. Time was tight. I wanted to cut out one of the looks to make it easier on us. This was the one I thought we could lose. “Please, we have to try it,” stylist @elysze said. “Plaid is *the* look right now.” I begrudgingly relented, and we started shooting. From behind the lens, @nickgarciaphoto said, “This is it. This has to be the cover.” The photo proofs came in. “The plaid set is arresting and absolutely stunning,” creative director @jmcoto22 told me. We went for it, and a photo that almost wound up never happening became the cover image of our 2018 @indulgemiami Fashion Issue. Proud of, grateful for and awed by the talented team who help create this level of whoa, issue after issue. #madforplaid #indulgemiami #fashionenpointe
