Today is the last day of #fashionrevolutionweek! The fashion industry is incredibly damaging, both socially and environmentally. As well as being one of the largest sources of chemical pollution and landfill waste, many workers are exploited and underpaid. ‍♀️ That’s why I #boycottfastfashion and only buy second hand clothes! Buying second hand is cheaper (this top was only £3.99!), means I don’t contribute to the exploitation of (mainly) women workers and has a low environmental impact, putting to use clothes that would have otherwise been sent to landfill So this year, why don’t you have a look at your local charity shops and see what you can find!
