Hey Everyone!  

Sorry for the lack of comics lately, been a mix of being so busy lately and the most recent Derpy comic fighting me for various different reasons.  Also my tablet has some dead spots on it now and doing line art has been kind frustrating lately. Haven’t had time to deal with it. 

So instead of Derpy stuff today I figured its  way past time to up date you all on the Kobold Project I have been working on.   There is good news and bad news.  TL;DR at the bottom

The Bad News (Koigzist Kobold Comic)
The original Kobold Comic I was working on with a friend has been put on an indefinite hiatus.  To put a long story short, the friend and I have had creative differences in the project and the friend also has some personal stuff come up in his life so the brakes have been put on it.   Maybe we will come back to it, maybe not, but for now it has been shelved.   Sorry for those of you who were looking forward to it.  I was too.  

The Good News (Kobold Express Comic) 
I have decided to work on an entirely new Kobold Comic project.  And to be brutally honest I’m far more excited for this one!  Above is the concept art that has been done on the project so let me know what you all think!   Here is the synopsis of the comic:

Kobold Express
Long ago dragons ruled the sky, reeking havoc on the Skyland’s of the world.  In their hubris, the Dragons created a slave race of Kobolds to do their bidding.  However, the kobolds lamenting their fate, rebelled against and nearly wiped out the dragons.  In a last ditch attempt to survive, the last of the dragons created a magical storm, The Maelstrom, preventing travel between the Skylands. 100 years have passed and the Maelstrom has ended. With the sky now free to travel, the Skylands try to relearn to make airships to travel the world again. 

Kira, a young kobold merchant raised by humans, finds a magical airship and goes on an adventure seeking fame, fortune, and alliances with the world!   But are the dragons truly gone?  Or are their other powers that now rule the sky?  And most importantly, can Kira and her friends steer clear of trouble?  

Anyway hopefully that sounds interesting for you all without spoiling the plot too much.  Still super early in the planning stage so everything is up to change between now and when the comic goes live.  

Also special shout out to @alazak​!  Although this is 100% my project. unlike the other Kobold comic from before,  he has been helping me by being an awesome friend to spitball ideas with and to help with concept art.  His art is up above too, it is the last image of concept art in the group!  Make sure you go and check out his Tumblr and give him a follow. He also might be working on his own new project that he has yet to announce, so lots of new stuff coming your way!  Hopefully you all enjoy it!
