I’ve just seen the scene called Newt’s house, and WHY DAVID WHY???!!! Why on earth would you delete THAT scene??? It’s so beautiful and oh my heart!! Theseus rocks Qilin, blows her kisses and sweet talks her. And the brothers sing together, a song their mother used to sing. They laugh about it. Pure precious scenes AND YOU DELETE IT??!!! If they’d have kept that in the film, it would have been my FAVOURITE SCENE!!! Oh my gosh! I could watch that over and over again! It was so precious. Thanks to the person who shared it. I wanted more of that scene though. Like the whole scene. Not sure if the whole scene was shown in that clip. It stopped at the brothers laughing together. I want every scene with Newt in it. Give me every scene, and every scene with the brothers together!!

I really love this scene and I’m kind of annoyed that it was cut. There really hasn’t been enough of Newt and Theseus being brothers in these films. Seeing Theseus take care of his little brother and be more than just a stoic Ministry worker is something I’ve been seriously craving. And we barely got to see much of Newt’s home. Watching the way Newt squirmed and looked away trying to hint to Theseus not to ask questions. He wasn’t lying to him. Theseus can tell when he’s trying to lie and when he’s trying to tell him to drop the conversation, I think. He worries about what his little brother is getting into… I feel that’s really the main reason Theseus went along with this whole plan - he’s still that protective big brother and wants to be there to keep Newt safe (even though he ends up being the one who needs saving). It’s just a beautiful tender moment and I hate that it was cut.
