Ifinally had some time to catch up on my reading and posting, and I was able to get in a lotof reading this past weekend. So this will be a bit long as it contains a little over two weeks’ worth of wonderfully entertaining fics.

Sometimes I wonder if I should branch out with my fics and try writing for different fandoms and characters. Being part of such a small fandom is wonderful, but at times it can also be very demotivating.
But then I realise… I’m happy in my little Joel lane. I have made some amazing friends who give me so much support, and at the end of the day, while notes are nice, I’m writing for me.
Perhaps at some point I’ll dip my toes into the great beyond, but for now you can expect me to continue supplying a regular stream of Joel content.

While I know you would absolutely nail writing for any character you tried (case in point, your Harley Quinn drabble which I am still OBSESSED with), I love your Joel stuff so much! What you have done with these characters is truly amazing and the fandom on a whole would be a sadder place without your work.
Sometimes it does kill me when I read your fics and I think about how so many people are missing out on your incredible talent and stories just because it is written for a less popular or forgotten character. But at the same time, I am so thrilled I get to read your fics about some of my favorite characters and you have helped introduce me to characters I might not have considered otherwise.
You truly have redefined and shaped the fanon Holder we all love. You introduced me to Frank and then provided me with some amazing fics for him. You made me fall in love with Heller even with having never seen the show (same with Ed but at least now I have started that show ). Your Rick is what initially introduced me to your writing and I will forever be grateful for that (plus the fact you nail his voice and characterization to a tee). And your Tak perfectly captures the balance of tough and tender that I love to see with him.
Plus, on top of all of that, you are so supportive and helpful to everyone both in the Joel fandom and outside it.
So, whether you never write another piece for anyone other than a Joel character or you start writing for every character imaginable, I will always be waiting to devour it. And as long as you are happy with and enjoying what you are writing, that is always the most important thing.
Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply to this, Vee, but you left me a little speechless! I know I say it time and time again, but I am so so grateful to call you a friend. I would probably have given up a long time ago if not for you and it means so much to me that you’ve been supporting me since the start.
It has been soooooo long!!! And when a few questions trickled into my email box, I had to log on. You guys, the overwhelming continued support that is pouring in has me tears.
I thought I would be just a mere memory by now! It gives me hope and inspiration to pick back up where I left off.
This year, I was blessed with a beautiful baby boy who keeps me on my toes and who has become my whole world. With a new baby and a new part time job, I had to shelf music for some time.
But you guys have got me back on my feet. And I seriously cannot thank you enough.
2020 is our year guys. 2020 is my year. 2020 is gonna start off with some kick ass mofo fan songs.
