Our Lady of the Snows, carrying the warmth of the Christ Child close to your heart, pray for us!

This is a redo of a piece I made last year which I’ve wanted to update for a while!

The title “Our Lady of the Snows” stems from a legend wherein Mary appears to a Roman couple in a dream and tells them to build a church, and then dusts the summer ground with snow as a miraculous sign. The legend itself does not have a solid historical basis, but the title is beautiful and has gained a special spot in my heart.
