There are so many happy, respected, content women in this world. But there are also way too many that, for whatever reason, be it cultural or traditional reasons, living in societies that disrespect women by default, neglected professionally in matriarchal societies or business related spheres. 

No one is going to help those women unless they help themselves.

And then, there are their men. They might wish you a happy 8th March, even buy you a flower by default, because that is lady’s day. I say no, every day is lady’s day. Well, it actually is not but it could be. So ladies, go for it, it is all up to you.

I have been asked a lots of questions, received tons of messages in my inbox here and my email. But in 2,5 years, no one asked why I created this blog, why I keep it running and why in general, I promote Female Led Relationships.

I wouldn’t say I “promote” Female Led Relationships and definitely, as I declared many times before, I do not believe in female supremacy. I know this leaves many subs disappointed but it’s just the way it is, I do believe in gender equality and I also do not see this changing in future. So then why this blog and my interacting with other people, privately?

I have always considered myself as an open and liberal person. At my husband’s “proposal” of a Female Led Relationship, my instant shock was quickly absorbed by my personality. But the most important thing to stress here is the fact that I love my husband dearly since day one, and nothing that we or I do, cannot change that. In such setup, it is only natural that I desire his happiness and fulfillment. If being subdued by me means just that, I was and am willing to provide. Yes I did have some doubts in the very beginning but those faded away quickly simply by seeing him all worked up and content. He just loves being submissive to me.

Now back to the subject, why this blog? Since my relationship was developing and evolving quite well, I felt the urge to share it with the world and I found Tumblr to be a very good place to do just that. As most of us are, I too am professionally deformed, thus I felt the urge to “help” people. If I ever had any doubts about Female Led Relationships being the right way for couples intrigued by the idea, I’d never take the liberty to advise anyone. But I had absolutely no doubts so I felt relaxed by doing so. Up until today, I think I was and am a quite successful adviser. 

In the very beginning, my husband was my tutor when it comes to FLR, Femdom, kinks, you name it. That was a period with a bit of “topping from the bottom”, but that lasted quite short. It lasted until I started educating myself and letting my imagination run free. My imagination is what actually opened my eyes to all the benefits a woman, but her man too, can gain from such relationship. From that point on, rest is history created by a couple, husband and wife, very much in love.

It is quite interesting to learn things, for example how some quotes, on ones personal level, like the one above come to life. Something similar was written to me by a woman I conversed with about FLR. After few months of her talking to me and engaging in a FLR with her partner, she wrote how incredibly calm and content her partner is, no matter what she does to or with him. This is one example which tells me that creating this blog, was a great idea.

So, in a certain ways, this blogs provides education for me, too. Whenever I learn something new, I process it thru my brain and choose whether it is a good thing or not; if I should embrace it or not, practice it or not, share it with others as a good or a bad thing. And I am always open for new ideas.

So in short, this is why this blog exists. On few occasions, I asked myself whether is worth keeping the blog or not, two times I’ve been very close to deactivating or simply abandoning it but guess what…my husband persuaded me not to as he feels I am doing some good. Perhaps instead of me, he believes in Female supremacy :) I’ll have to ask him one of these days.

As far as I am concerned, I really got used to “Yes Mistress” and, after almost a decade, those words still get me all worked up in different ways. Honestly, I am not sure if I could continue my, our lives, without it…

My way, our way now…it definitely is a Female Led Relationship but still, whatever we do and engage in, it always ends with love, more love then ever :)
