3 days left and we’re 71% of the way there.

At the $36 Reward Level we need 30 more people.

Have I told you why 4236, besides that about what I figured out it would take to do a print run of $250?

In Gematria (Jewish Numerology)
42 = Immah - Mother
36 is double “chai” - life (18), and Elah “goddess”

If you want to see this project get funded and haven’t told someone else about it yet – now is the time!

If you’ve been waiting until the last minute…Now is the time.

New Reward Level

Many of you have asked how you can get the deck and a reading from me.  I didn’t want to promise too many readings, because I know I’ll be really busy over the summer and fall.  But I can manage 10 of them.  If you are already a backer and want to change your pledge – you can!  If you haven’t backed this yet, I hope this encourages you to do so.

Social Justice

I know there is a lot going on in the world right now.  And if you are the type of person who would back this project, you are probably giving what you have to help refugees, immigrants, civil rights, gender equality, and so much more.  This project also helps fund womxn doing that work to – by donating to the Kohenet scholarship fund.

This deck also portrays as diverse a range of what it can mean to be a woman, as I could manage.  The goal was to present as diverse a vision of ‘Womxn’ and Feminine Divine as possible. The roots of this deck are in Jewish teachings, but I wanted to be sure anyone who identifies as a woman could see herself somewhere in this deck. It was also a priority to ensure that the deck was not just “Ashka-normative” – meaning focused on just stereotypical imagery of White, Eastern European Jewry. Being Jewish can be a religious identity, ethnic/racial identity, and a tribal identity.

I tried to incorporate gender presentation, body type diversity, age, as well as race/ethnicity.  While in some cases I couldn’t find imagery to incorporate what I was looking for - I tried to leave somethings “unseen” - not to hide anything - but to leave the potential for you to fill in what should be there.

You can’t begin to know how much it means to me that you would see this project as part of that work of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), and choose to use some of your hard earned “green energy” to back this project.
