I have to thank my good chum for really getting me into FFXIV. If he wasn’t there, I don’t think that I’d be so into the game as I am now. I’m happy that hes pushed me and has helped me make characters that I really enjoy roleplaying.

Vae-lectoroix Has been such an amazing person since i transfered to Balmung! I met him once in a leveling roulette while i was Leveling my new main(war) and i recognized him from tumblr(since i follow The grumpy elezen as well who is a total sweetheart!) I mentioned it to him, and he was very polite and kind during the dungeon run. When i finally chose to move to balmung, he was the first person i saw out in Gridania… and I decided to speak with him. He offered me a Spot in his LS, and told me to speak to him if i ever needed help, and he would be more than willing to Help me and my friends out, eventhough i was just some random tumblr user who followed his friend Vergil! He and i have remained in contact off and on, and he was very kind to me when he found out I had surgery out of game. He also has a voice like smooth velvety chocolate! ;P Definitely a man worth of praise!

I absolutely adore the fine peeps in the Crystal Butts group. Some have been inactive lately and I miss them, but everyone’s great, polite and fun! The discussions about the game, characters (NPCs and OCs), lore and just about everything brighten up my day. Keep being awesome!

Hi everyone!
I’m so grateful for the amount of attention this idea has gotten so quickly. However, I haven’t had a lot of asks/submissions. There’s only one more that I’m working on in addition to the one I posted yesterday. So please, ask/submit the love!
I’m not sure they’ll want to be named so I’ll just refer to them as my group of “chuckle nuts” (they’ll know who they are ahaha)! But I want to thank them all for being so supportive of my artwork, even if they’re just silly doodles. I haven’t been drawing for a very long time and classes have made me anxious, so their encouragement and enthusiasm really cheer me up. Thanks so much, frens! ♥

Oh wow, I wasn’t expecting to get so many responses so quickly! Just a small reminder that my asks and submits should be open for positive words for me to post! (If I made a mistake and they aren’t, please let me know!)
Inspired by other fandom positivity blogs, I decided to make one for the FFXIV fandom on tumblr.
How does it work? It works by people submitting (or sending in an ask) positive things about the community members. I put the words on a nice background and post it as a pic. You can submit your own image or just text.
Submission guidelines:
1. BE AS SPECIFIC AS YOU CAN! Please don’t say something like: “This player “X” is awesome.” Instead, explain why they’re awesome. Did they help organize a run for a tricky story dungeon for you and a friend? Did they diffuse a tense linkshell discussion with impressive diplomacy?
2. You can shout out names of characters, free companies, linkshells, servers, etc.. However, any submissions containing personal information of players will be promptly deleted.
3. By default, I will not say who submitted the positive messages. However! If you want it known, let me know and I’ll sign it with your tumblr or character name. This option is only available for non-anonymous submissions.
4. Positive things only! For example: “Although some people don’t like Player “Y”, they bought me a minion for my birthday and are always kind to me.” will be rejected unless changed to something like: “Player ‘Y’ bought me a minion for my birthday and is always kind to me.”
5. If you have a preference for what image/theme is used with your submission, let me know when you submit it.
If more guidelines need to come into play, I’ll keep this post updated. If anyone wants to help with image making and/or the blog theme, let me know in an ask. Finally, a big thank you for the entire community for making this game a place where people can come to enjoy themselves in Eorzea!
