Here is my contribution to the @gw2collective Wintersdayzine for 2018, with the theme Journeys. The Wintersdayzine is a @guildwars2 magazine created by fans for fans, and it was an honour to be a part of such an amazing endeavour again. Seriously, everyone who worked on this is extremely talented and they all deserve so much love! <3

For my piece, I wanted to reminisce about a certain heart quest that really stood out to me when I first played the game back in it’s earliest days. My hero’s journey began with a most formidable foe…the bunny! This heart quest, where you have to bring feed to the npc without getting bowled over by hungry bunnies, has been the source of many good stories and great laughs shared between numerous friends I have made throughout the years. (yes it was extremely unforgiving, and yes it was a bonding experience to share the pain of this with unsuspecting new players :P) To this day the experience of it still makes me smile! …though that may be interpreted as a grimace of pain as well.
