Caretaker is immune to fire.

They run into a burning building knowing, that’s where Whumper left Whumpee. After a while they find Whumpee in the basement, chained to the wall, with fire getting closer and closer. Caretaker is too weak to break the chains and keys are not anywhere around, they feel helpless. They fall into their knees next to Whumpee and just start to cry.

“It’s ok,” Whumpee says, trying to hold back tears. “It’s ok, really. Don’t worry. Could you just… Could you just stay with me until I die?” they whisper, “Please”.
