‘FireStarter’ (Remake Of The 1984 Film) Will Be Released In Cinema’s & Peacock On 13th Of May 2022.

So Tuesday night we went to see the Remake of Firestarter
I vaguely remember seeing the original one like once
many many years ago. I didn’t remember much about it
other then the little girl has some type pyrokinetic
powers.

So we were watching it and its an alright movie
I can’t say it was a horror movie there wasn’t
anything scary about.. I guess little girls
pyrokinetic powers were more scary in the 80s lol
I’d say it was more of an Action Thriller then
anything else.

I did feel it was well acted and the fire effects
and all the fire work was really well done
that was pretty much the coolness of it.

Now while watching this I was thinking about
something kinda different.. the girls parents
have powers too and they got them from some kind
of government/corporation type experiment and
now they are being hunted by these people becasue
of their powers and all this and I start thinking
this is like a X-Men movie?
becasue the the experiment could easily be run by
the the Weapon X Project and they took the
parents in who were Mutants and they just
injected them with stuff that enhances or
brings forward their Mutant abilities.
and they have a daughter who is born a
Mutant and they are hunting them to
turn them into weapons.
it makes lots of sense when you think
about it in those terms.

but other then that like I said it
was an alright movie. The only part
I didn’t really like was the scene
with the cat.
I can’t say it was a bad movie or
or a good one its kinda in the middle
so if you liked the original I’d say
give it a try and see what you think.
