I felt hesitant to add this lot because it is rather hideous (lol), but that’s the point of it! I present you the Not So Flop House, which is supposed to imitate an old worker’s hotel / bunkhouse / flophouse – you name it. It is a nice opportunity for your poor Sims to start a new life and gather some bucks before moving someplace else, especially if you play a realistic gameplay (e.g. with no 20k handouts). If you don’t mind dealing with your neighbours when brushing your teeth or making dinner, you can save tons of money!
The building was inspired by the 1950s worker’s hotels in the Eastern European countries under the Soviet rule (most of which are probably abandoned now). It has 2 floors and8 ‘flats’. Some of them are bigger, some are smaller. Some of them look better, some look worse. Choose what suits you best. The cheapest rent is only§415per week.
There are shared kitchens and bathroom (+ imaginary laundry room), as you can see on the pictures. No cafeteria worker included, you have to get your own food and prepare a meal on your own.
It is a nice alternative to trailer parks which are known to be very cheap as well, but in Eastern Europe were never that popular. Comparison: the cheapest apartment lot in your vanilla game is the Main Street Mobile Homes with rents ranging from §772 to §1,238.
