Previous findings have noticed a strong positive correlation between the enjoyment of being a goalkeeper and having a pain kink (Footballblr, 2021), which means that the more motivation, the more intense is the kink. A study focused on German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (Bayernblr, 2022) corroborated the conclusions, linking these two variables and provoking a wave of concern outside of the Tumblr Girlies (gn) Community™️. Although revolutionary and highly prone to outside critique, these findings are promising and hopefully will motivate further research.
