Mutuals what books are you currently reading/keeping on your side table?

Right now I’m reading Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman, Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones, and volume six of Chainsaw Man.

I’m currently reading Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism by Amanda Montell and Vita Nostra by Marina and Sergey Dyachenko.

My pile technically includes A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab, the Scott Pilgrim manga, They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera, and all 3 LOTR books in one massive volume that I borrowed from my SIL like a year ago.

currently on my nightstand are: American Gods by Neil Gaiman, Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, and The Tempest. On audiobook, I just finished listening to Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and currently am listening to both Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones and The Two Towers by JRRT!!

Lord of the Flies by William Golding and Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden

In the top drawer of my nightstand I have The Woman Before Wallis by Brynn Turnbull, which i borrowed from my nana after accidentally sounding too interested in it (and haven’t so much as glanced at, sorry nana)

and joni mitchell’s biography Reckless Daughter by David Yaffe

Uprooted by Naomi Novik

Little Weirds by Jenny Slate

The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion
