One of the most charming and oft published private properties of Provence, Les Ramades - the 16th-century mas of French interior designer François Catroux and his wife Betty, one-time muse to Yves Saint Laurent - is on the market.

A dream realized, the Luberon retreat has provided the Catroux’s a sanctuary of enchanting beauty and solitude since the 1980’s, when it first appeared in shelter magazine publications. While the decision to let it go must have been fraught with difficulty one can hope the succeeding steward’s will lavish as much love and style upon this extraordinary paradis enchanteur.
