Watching Alien Resurrection. Its a terrible movie I know but the story throws up an awesome concept.
As the scientist explains to Ripley, the upshot of the genetic engineering of the alien queen from Ripley’s DNA mean a human reproductive system, with the alien queen giving birth to a live baby, a boy!
But the new born rejects the alien queen & instead identifies Ripley as his mother. Freudian psychiatry would tell you that he therefore identifies human females as his sexual partners, & this is seen with his affection towards Winona Ryder’s character, followed by his rage when he discovers she’s an android.
